How we build your website

   Step 1: Initiation and research

   We talk through your business, your customers and the sites you like, and gather what we need: your domain, your content and any photos. This is where we capture your vision and ideas so the site we build is the one you want.

2. 02

   Step 2: Design and mock-up

   We build a mock-up of the site on our test platform, with the layout of every page, so you get your first proper look at your website early, while changes are still cheap.

   Your part Look it over and tell us what you think.

3. 03

   Step 3: Agree the specification

   With the mock-up in front of you, we agree the specification together: the pages, the features and how each one works. Nothing gets built that you have not agreed to.

   Your part Sign off the specification.

4. 04

   Step 4: Build and finalise

   We build the site to the agreed specification: easy to navigate, quick to load, and laid out for phones, tablets and desktops. We fill in the final details and get it ready to go live.

   Your part Send any last content and answer our questions.

5. 05

   Step 5: Testing and sign-off

   You have time to go through the whole site and try every form and link, and we fix anything that is not right. It goes live only when you are completely satisfied with how it looks and works.

   Your part Test the site and give us the go-ahead.

6. 06

   Step 6: Go live and support

   We put the site live on your domain and check that it, your forms and your email all work. Our service does not end at sign-off: while you are with us, you have support for your website.
