Web apps that do a job

We build web apps for businesses and clubs across the East Midlands: online shops, quoting and booking tools, systems for clubs and members, and the admin screens behind them. Built around how you already work.

What we build

The kinds of app we build

Four kinds, and we have built each of them. Yours may be one of these or a mix; what matters is the job it has to do.

  • Online shops

A fast storefront with a proper shop system behind it for stock, orders and payment.

    • Product pages and basket
    • Secure checkout
    • Stock and orders you manage yourself
  • Quoting and booking tools

Let customers price a job or ask for a booking themselves, using your own prices and rules.

    • Price calculators
    • Booking and enquiry forms
    • Answers sent straight to your inbox
  • Member and team systems

Somewhere for a club, team or group of customers to sign in and see what is theirs.

    • Sign-ins with different roles
    • Fixtures, schedules and availability
    • Records kept in one place
  • Dashboards and admin

The screens behind the scenes: replacing the spreadsheet everyone is afraid to touch.

    • Reporting and dashboards
    • Admin screens for your staff
    • Connecting to systems you already use

In plain English

What a web app is

A web app is software you use through a web browser. It looks and behaves like an app, but it lives on the internet rather than on one device.

  • Nothing to install

It opens in a web browser. There is no app store, no download and no update to chase.

  • Phone, tablet and computer

One app, laid out for each. The person in the office and the person on site use the same thing.

  • Everyone sees the same

It is kept in one place, so there is no "which copy is the latest?" and a change reaches everybody at once.

Not sure whether you need a web app or one from an app store? Tell us what it has to do and we will tell you which fits.

How it works

You see it before it is built

We work the same way on an app as on a website: you see it before it is built, you agree exactly what goes in it, it goes live only when you are happy with it, and we look after it afterwards. The six steps are written up for a website; an app follows the same ones.

The six steps

Tell us about the app

Describe the job it needs to do and who will use it. We will come back to you to talk it through.
